Internship Requirements & Detail

Rainbow Path Internship Program

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO APPLY FOR A RAINBOW PATH INTERNSHIP?

  • PREREQUISITE: All students applying for a Rainbow Path Internship Program have to have already attended one of our Rainbow Fire Mystery School 10-21 days programs as a paid student. This is to assist us in getting to know you and how you handle the personal transformational nature of our medicine work.

  • Email us and indicate you are interested in applying for the Rainbow Path Internship Program and we will let you know if we are currently accepting applications. admin@whirlingrainbow.com.

  • If you are clear that you are ready to be a Rainbow Path Intern (regardless of your start date) you must first apply. Please fill out the application form and send it to us with your essay and application fee.

  • The Rainbow Path Internship is a year long program designed in four directional modules of 3 months. WRF will only consider applications of those passionately committed to the full year program.

  • Once we have received your application and processed it, we will email you to inform you whether we are interested in scheduling an interview.

  • Following the interview we then require 2 volunteer days from you, so we see how you do with learning new skills, particularly hands on ceremonial arts and crafts of which is required in the first 3 month module of the Internship.

  • Following Your Interview we bring your application to the monthly WRF Board meeting and if the WRF Board approves you, you will then receive an email stating your Rainbow Path Internship is approved.

  • Once approved, a Rainbow Path Internship Contract between WRF and the Intern is drafted with specific scheduling discussed between parties and then confirmed and signed.

  • All Rainbow Path Internships start with a trial 3 month module at which time both WRF and the Intern decide if the Intern will continue on to Module 2 for another 3 months. This same review happens each 3-month module. Once the four modules of the first year are completed, the Intern can then apply for Rainbow Path Apprenticeship Program.
