Carol Montoya is an Alaskan artist who uses her abilities in watercolor to create images of Alaskan wildlife. Her motivation in sharing her expression is to heal the relationship man has with the natural world.
Carol Montoya is an intuitive artist and teacher, who has lived among indigenous peoples in some of the most sacred places of Alaska, California, and New Mexico, learning ancient wisdom held by the land and its people, which has been passed down for many generations.
By capturing the soul of the living, breathing creatures of the animal kingdom, it is my hope to make a connection where the underlying cord of unity, similarity and reflection lie.
